Working with Sections & Widgets
🛠️ How to Add, Edit, Duplicate, or Delete a Section in Meshup Editor
Sections are the core layout blocks in Meshup Editor. You can easily manage them to structure your site exactly the way you want. Here’s how to add, modify, copy, or remove sections from any page.
➕ Add a New Section
- Hover between two existing sections and click the “+ Add Section” button.
- Choose from pre-designed section layouts or start with a blank one.
- Customize the layout by adding widgets like text, images, or buttons.
✏️ Edit an Existing Section
- Click directly on any section to begin editing.
- Use the sidebar or in-line tools to change background color, images, padding, layout, and widgets.
- You can also drag and drop elements inside the section to rearrange them.
📄 Duplicate a Section
- Hover over the section and click the Duplicate icon (usually two overlapping squares).
- A full copy of the section will appear below the original — including all content and styles.
- This is useful for repeating layouts or reusing styled content.
🗑️ Delete a Section
- Hover over the section you want to remove.
- Click the Trash/Delete icon in the section toolbar.
- Confirm the action if prompted. This cannot be undone unless you use the Undo button.
🧠 Pro Tips
- Use Duplicate to Speed Up Design – Once you find a layout you like, clone it instead of building from scratch.
- Keep Sections Focused – Each section should contain one clear idea or call to action.
- Preview Often – Make sure your added or edited sections look good on desktop and mobile views.
With Meshup Editor, section management is flexible and intuitive — giving you full control over the layout and flow of every page.
